Job Opportunity: RN - Emergency Room
Location: West Des Moines, Iowa
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 13 weeks (approximately 3 months)
Schedule: Every Other Week (EOW)
Required Specialty
- Registered Nurse (RN) with Emergency Room experience
- Minimum Years of Experience: Not explicitly stated; assume standard RN ER experience expected
Required Certifications & Licenses
- BLS (Basic Life Support) - American Heart Association certification required
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) or ENPC (Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course)
- TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)
- NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale)
- Valid RN License (must be verified within 30 days of start)
Health & Immunization Requirements
- Fit Test
- Trinity 10 Panel Drug Screen (completed within 30 days of start; no THC)
- COVID-19 Vaccine (including booster by Sept 2025) or approved declination/exemption (declination not accepted in CA or IL)
- MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella) - proof of 2 vaccinations or IgG titer
- Hepatitis B vaccination series (must have started prior to start date)
- Influenza Vaccine (proof or declination accepted except in CA or IL)
- 2 Step PPD OR IGRA (Quantiferon/Tspot) with chest x-ray if positive TB as per regional requirements
- Varicella - proof of vaccination or IgG titer
- Physical/Health Statement confirming fitness to work (exam within last year)
- Tdap vaccine (declinations accepted if no pediatric interaction)
Professional & Compliance Requirements
- Trinity Profile: Resume, Skills Checklist (within 1 year), 2 Professional References
- Trinity Code of Conduct Form (signed)
- Trinity I9 Form
- Confidentiality and System Security Agreement (signed)
- Integrity and Audit Services Form (signed shortly before start)
- Non-Employee Upload Form (completed)
- Specialty Specific Competency Testing (copy of specialty exam within 1 year)
- Conflict of Interest Disclosure Form (signed)
- Criminal Background Check (Federal, Nationwide, County for last 7 years; SSN verification; dated within 30 days of start)
- Education Verification (highest academic degree or diploma verified)
- EPLS (Excluded Parties List System) check dated within 30 days
- GSA/OIG Exclusion Check dated within 30 days
- Joint Commission CORE Exam within 1 year
- NSO (National Sex Offender) check dated within 30 days
- System Access Form (completed and uploaded 1 week before start)
- Skills Checklist (provided by agency for clinical contractors)
- Child and Adult Dependent Abuse Training (Iowa only)
- Iowa Sing Report (Criminal History, Sex Offender, Dependent Adult & Child Abuse Registries check within 30 days prior to start)
- OFAC Sanctions Search (completed within 30 days of start)
