Job Opportunity: Pharmacist (Travel)

Location: Dover, New Jersey
Contract Length: 13 weeks (approximately 3 months)

Job Description

• Collaborate with the Director of Pharmacy to compound and dispense medications and pharmaceutical supplies based on physician prescriptions.
• Participate in Performance Improvement plans within the hospital.
• Consult and advise Administration, Medical Staff, and hospital staff on quality, regulatory, and risk issues.
• Support and serve as a consultant to all clinical and Medical Staff.
• Assist the Director in coordinating and implementing Pharmacy activities.
• Interpret medication orders and dispense medications in accordance with legal, ethical, and professional pharmacy standards.
• Supervise technical support staff.
• Assist with clinical, quality management, and education programs.
• Provide support for patient care across adult and geriatric populations (ages 18 and older).

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of recent experience in Pharmacy, preferably in a hospital setting.
• Must hold a valid New Jersey Pharmacy license.
• Must have BLS certification (American Heart Association).
• Work schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM.
