Description

Job Opportunity: RN Stepdown - Nights

Location: Lawton, Oklahoma
Employment Type: Contract

Unit Details

33-bed stepdown unit with cardiovascular specialty
Patient care includes STEMI/NSTEMI, chest pain rule out, CHF, noninvasive ventilation, cardiothoracic surgery post-ICU, antiarrhythmic IV medications, peripheral vascular compromise, etc.
Nurse-to-patient ratio: 1:4

Shift

Night shift: 6 PM to 6 AM
Float to Med/Surg or ER to cover CVCU/Med Surg holds
No block scheduling; flexibility required

Experience Requirements

Minimum 2 years of stepdown unit (SDU) experience
Prior travel experience: Not required

Certifications Required

ACLS
BLS/BCLS

Contract Length

13 weeks

Additional Notes
