Job Opportunity: Technologist - Electrophysiology (Days)

Location: Cedar Rapids, Iowa
Employment Type: Temporary
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Key Requirements

• Specialty: Electrophysiology (EP) Technologist
• Experience:

  • Minimum 3 years of Electrophysiology (EP) experience required for first-time travel contracts
  • Must have 24 months (2 years) of recent experience in Electrophysiology/EP, Cardiac Cath/CCL, or Interventional/IR
• Certifications:

  • ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) or Registered Cardiovascular / RCIS / RCES certificate (required)
  • Active American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC) BLS (Basic Life Support) certification (required)
• Skills & Equipment:

  • Experience with cardiac ablation, cardiac rhythm management (CRM), and left atrial appendage occlusion (LAAO) (required)
  • Siemens equipment experience (required)
• Additional Requirements:

  • Skills checklist specific to Electrophysiology/EP, Cardiac Cath/CCL, or Interventional/IR discipline (required)
  • Professional references or performance evaluations within the last 24 months preferred
  • Valid driver’s license (required)

Work Details

• Typical workweek: 36-40 hours, with overtime billable after 40 hours
• Orientation dates available: February 16, February 23, March 2
• EMR system: EPIC
• Call back and on-call pay multipliers apply
• Local radius rule: 50 miles

• Travel experience is desired but not explicitly required for this position.
