Location: Marquette, Michigan
Employment Type: Travel Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Facility & Unit Information

• Specialty Care Hospital with 200 beds
• Department: Cardiac Imaging, Cath Lab Suite
• Trauma Level: 2
• Patient Population: Adult and Geriatric
• Electronic Health Records: Merge Hemo and Cerner
• Shift: Variable start times (7am & 8am)
• Weekend Hours: On call
• Call Requirements: Must punch in within 30 minutes of being called; call frequency depends on team size
• Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 0.8 FTE

Position Details

• Role: Cath Lab Tech
• Number of Openings: 5
• Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS
• Required Licenses: Cath Lab Tech License
• Required Years of Experience: 2+ years in specialty
• Prior Travel Experience: Not explicitly required

Skills & Experience

Must Have / Preferred Skills:

• General procedures: angiography, angioplasty, arterial line insertion, coronary angioplasty, CTO, intra-aortic balloon pump, Impella, intravascular ultrasound, pan table, stent placement, thrombolysis, venography, wave wire
• Hemodynamic and other calculations
• Right and left heart catheterization
• Structural heart procedures
• Vascular interventional procedures including contrast administration, emergency procedures, peripheral, thoracic, pulmonary embolism (PE)
• Electrophysiology (EP) studies
• Willingness to train if needed

• STEMI
• NSTEMI
• Heart disease
