Job Opportunity: RN - ICU (Travel)

Location: El Paso, Texas
Employment Type: Travel Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Nights (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM)
Call Requirements: None
Weekends: Rotate

Unit Information

Unit: ICU
Number of Beds: 24
Number of Staff: 12 (Day Shift: 1 charge nurse + 11-12 RNs; Night Shift: 1 charge nurse + 11-12 RNs)
Patient Ratio: 2:1
Equipment: TABLO, Belmont/Level 1 rapid infuser, Camino/Integra ICP monitoring, Flo-trac, Rotoprone, ventilators, invasive hemodynamic monitoring, and gtt management
EMR System: Meditech
Permanent Positions Available: No

Requirements

Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIH Certification
Licenses: Registered Nurse License
Years of Experience in Specialty: Minimum 3 years direct ICU experience (higher value taken from description)
Prior Travel Experience: Not explicitly required

Preferred Qualifications

Bilingual (English/Spanish)
Trauma experience (TNCC/TCAR)

Typical Procedures Performed

Code intubation
Trauma level 1 intervention
Code resuscitation

Additional Information

Dress Code: Galaxy blue/Royal blue scrubs required
Looking for engaged RNs who follow facility policies and guidelines
