Job Opportunity: Cath Lab Technician (Rad Tech - RCIS Preferred)

Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Minimum 2+ years experience as a Radiologic Technologist required.
• RCIS certification required. CVT candidates are not accepted, even if they have RCIS.
• Must have at least 1+ year of prior travel experience as a traveler.
• Work schedule options:

  • (3) 12-hour shifts or (4) 10-hour shifts per week.
• Some on-call required, but no weekend or holiday shifts guaranteed.
• Expect 1-3 weeknights and possibly 1 weekend during the 13-week contract (not guaranteed).

Required Certifications & Licenses

• ARRT certification with RCIS required.
• ACLS certification (AHA, Red Cross, CHSF, or Military accepted; AHA preferred).
• Professional license verification required (MA Conditional Licenses not accepted).
• N95 fit test within 365 days of start date, updated annually (no religious exemptions).
• MMR vaccination or proof of immunity required.
• Influenza vaccine required during flu season (Sept 15 - April 30), no exemptions.
• TB screening within 3 months of start date (skin test or blood test), updated if >6 month break.
• Health statement signed by MD/DO/NP/PA within 365 days of start date, updated if >6 month break.
• Criminal background checks including Massachusetts CORI, SSN trace, national sex offender check, and exclusion checks required.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination or immunity is strongly preferred.
• Tdap vaccine preferred (within 10 years).

Additional Requirements

• Must provide 2 recent professional references (minimum 1 supervisor or above).
• Resume including past 7 years of work experience with city and state required for submission.
• Skills checklist and candidate submission coversheet required for submission.
• Respirator Medical Clearance attestation required if fit test is needed.
• Education verification required (highest level achieved).
• Confirmation of assignment form required upon acceptance and for extensions.
