Job Opportunity: CST/ORT - First Assist

Location: Salem, Virginia
Employment Type: Travel Contract

Unit Information

• Unit: Operating Room (OR)
• Number of Beds: 11 OR rooms
• Patient Ratios: 1:1
• Equipment: Hanah Tables, Jackson tables, vascular beds, Cysto beds, Robot beds
• Documentation System: Meditech
• Scheduling: 8, 10, and 12-hour shifts available
• Call Requirements: 1 night per week and 1.5 weekends every 8 weeks (48 hours for full weekend, 24 hours for half weekend)
• Floating Policy: Not specified
• Dress Code: Required uniform (details not specified)

Required Qualifications

• Valid Surgical Technologist license in Virginia
• Minimum 2 years of Surgical Technologist experience, including experience within the last year
• BLS certification
• OR First Assist Certification
• Surgical First Assistant experience
• Proficiency in craniotomies and burr holes
• Proficiency in robotic general surgeries
• Proficiency in cystoscopy
• Proficiency in ENT procedures
• Proficiency in total joint procedures
• Proficiency in DaVinci robotic systems

• Cystoscopy
• Lumbar laminectomy
• Total joint replacements
• Robotic general surgeries
• Robotic gynecological surgeries
• ENT procedures
• Minimal plastic surgeries
• Breast surgeries
