Job Opportunity: Special Procedures Tech - Radiology

Location: Dulles, Virginia
Employment Type: Travel Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

Work in the Cath Lab and Interventional Radiology (IR) unit
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
No nights, no weekends, no call requirements (may need to take call occasionally)
Unit staffing includes 2 RNs and 2 techs
Equipment used: INNOVA, Assist, MacLab
Documentation systems: Meditech and MacLab
Patient ratio: 1:1
Role involves cardiac catheterization and IR procedures
Dress code: Hospital-issued scrubs

Requirements

Specialty: Cardiac catheterization scrub tech
Certifications:
- ARRT Certification
- BLS
- ACLS (hospital-specific certification)
Minimum 2 years of experience in specialty (Special Procedures Tech)

Additional Information

Advanced skills required for cardiac catheterization and IR procedures
Work environment includes new equipment and technology

Floating policy applies within the unit
