Description

Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse (RN) - Day Surgery (Pre/Post)

Location: Glenwood Springs, Colorado
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

Plan and coordinate quality nursing care following ANA Standards of Nursing Practice.
Provide leadership and collaborate with clinical personnel while maintaining professional nursing standards.
Support the philosophy, goals, and shared governance vision of the clinical area.
Assist with transition from Meditech to Epic EMR system during the assignment.
Must be available for evening and weekend call rotations.

Requirements

Graduate of an accredited or state board-approved Registered/Professional Nursing program.
Colorado RN license in good standing.
Minimum of 3 years nursing (RN) experience, including PACU/CCU experience.
Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications through the American Heart Association (card in-hand before start date).
Flu vaccine required (no exemptions).
Prior travel experience is not explicitly required.

Additional Information

Radius rule: Traveler’s permanent address must be at least 75 miles away from the facility.
Certifications required: ACLS, BLS/BCLS, PALS.
Must be able to work with new EMR system (Epic) during assignment.
