• Facility Department: Respiratory Therapy
• Shift: Nights
• Call Requirements: None
• Weekends: Every Other
• Number of Beds: 285
• Number of Staff: 50
• Staff per Shift: 6-10 (Day and Night)
• Patient Ratios: Varies
• Equipment Used: Draeger ventilators, V60, EV300, V30, Maxtech HHFNC
• EMR System: Meditech

Required Qualifications

• Missouri Respiratory Therapist (RT) License/Certification
• BLS Certification
• ACLS, NRP, PALS Certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist

Preferred Qualifications

• ACCS Certification (preferred but not required)

Typical Procedures

• Aerosol treatments
• ABG’s (Arterial Blood Gases)
• CPAP, BiPAP
• Ventilator management
• Oxygen therapy
• Oximetry studies
