Job Opportunity: RN - Rehab (Travel)

Location: Chesterfield, Missouri
Specialty: Registered Nurse (RN) - Rehabilitation (Med/Surg)
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: 6:30 AM – PM
Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
Float Requirements: Must float within hospital units (Stroke, Comprehensive, Medically Complex, Brain Injury, Spinal Cord Injury)
Patient Population: Adults (18+ years)
Unit Profile:

• 81 private rooms
• Patient Ratios: ~1:6-7 during the day, 1:8 at night
• Each nurse has a dedicated tech
• Electronic Health Record system: Epic

Required Qualifications

• RN license in the state of Missouri
• BLS (CPR) Certification
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Rehab nursing specialty
• Must comply with facility’s Influenza Vaccination Policy (vaccination or approved exemption with masking required during flu season)

Preferred Qualifications

• Certified Rehabilitation Registered Nurse (CRRN) credential

Job Description Highlights

• Provide inpatient rehabilitation care for patients recovering from strokes, brain or spinal cord injuries, amputations, multiple trauma, cancer, complex orthopedic injuries, and other conditions
• Work in a multidisciplinary team focused on improving patients’ functional ability and quality of life
• Care for patients in specialized units including brain injury and stroke care units with dedicated therapy spaces and equipment
• Participate in a comprehensive treatment approach addressing physical, emotional, and psychological needs
• Collaborate closely with physicians, specialists, therapists, and family members
• Flexible, collaborative, and positive demeanor required

• Report time: 6:30 AM
• Parking available in garage (upper level or back two rows of lower level)
• Must be able to start in February; start date changes will not be approved once compliant
