Job Opportunity: Echo Tech Cardiac Sonographer Pediatrics
Location: Lubbock, Texas
Employment Type: Travel/Contract

Experience Requirements
- Minimum 1 year pediatric experience
- Adult/Pediatric Echo Certification required
- Vascular Certification preferred
- Higher years of experience requirement: 1 year pediatric experience
Work Schedule & Duties
- Night/Weekend call rotation required (on-call)
- Weekends required (call only)
- No floating between units
- Approximate workload: 5 exams per day

Certifications Required
- Adult/Pediatric Echo Certification (required)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure)
- Other certifications may be required based on clinical track and unit (e.g., Chemotherapy, EFM, IV Certification, CPI, NIH Stroke Certification)
Licenses & Verifications
- State professional license as applicable
- NURSYS verification for RNs
- Tech Certification verification (national)
- Background checks and education verifications required
Background & Compliance Requirements
- Background check within 45 days of start, covering all locations lived/worked in past 7 years
- Drug screening (10 panel) within 90 days of start
- Physical exam within 1 year of start
- Immunizations and health documents required:
- TDAP (within 10 years)
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray (within 12 months)
- MMR (Rubeola, Mumps, Rubella) vaccination or positive titer
- Hepatitis B vaccination or signed declination
- Varicella vaccination or positive titer
- Flu vaccine or declination (seasonal)
- COVID vaccine or declination
- Respirator clearance required annually for travel candidates
Additional Requirements
- References: Minimum 2 supervisor references covering 1 year of employment within last 3 years in comparable specialty/setting
- Employment application covering at least last 5 years (7 years for APN/Subcontractors)
- Skills checklist updated annually as applicable
- Color blind testing may be required on a unit basis
- Competency exams as applicable by specialty

- Floating policy acknowledgement required (may be required to float to other Providence facilities within reasonable distance)
- Completion of required WorkRamp training modules prior to start (specialty and facility specific)
