Description

Job Opportunity: RN - PCU (Travel)

Location: Nashville, Tennessee
Specialty: Registered Nurse (RN)
Unit: Burn ICU (12 beds)
Employment Type: Travel Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Unit Details

Patient Ratios:
- ICU patients: 2:1
- Med/surg and PCU patients: 4:1
Staffing: Charge RN, RNs, Patient Care Technicians (PCT)
Equipment: Ventilators, specialty beds, occasionally CRRT
Documentation System: Meditech
Scheduling: Minimum of 4 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule
Floating Policy: Contract labor floats first
Patient Experience Requirement: Med/surg experience preferred
Dress Code: Navy scrubs

Required Certifications & Licenses

BLS (Basic Life Support)
ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
NIH Certification
Registered Nurse License

Experience Requirements

Minimum 2 years of experience in the specialty (RN)

Additional Information

Procedures and advanced skills relevant to Burn ICU care expected
