Job Opportunity: RN - Emergency Department

Location: Selma, Alabama
Employment Type: Travel Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

Provide care to Emergency Room patients using the Nursing Process in accordance with state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies.
Demonstrate critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership in planning and delivering safe patient care in the Emergency Department.
Maintain clinical competencies through continuing education.
Delegate patient care priorities based on staff education and experience.
Provide direction and supervision to assigned personnel delivering patient care.

Requirements

Licensure: Must have an active Alabama RN license.
Certifications:
- ACLS (American Heart Association)
- BLS (American Heart Association)
- PALS (American Heart Association)
- TNCC certification (Trauma Nursing Core Course)
Certifications must be current and attached to the submission packet. RQI certifications are not accepted.
Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience as an RN in the specialty.
EMR Experience: Not specified but typically expected.

Notes

Prior travel experience is not explicitly required.
Must be able to work in a community hospital setting.
Strong leadership and supervisory skills are essential.
