Job Opportunity: Cath Lab Technologist

Location: New Lenox, Illinois
Employment Type: Temporary
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Perform minimally invasive interventional radiology techniques using radiological technology.
• Act as the first point of contact for referrals and patients.
• Attend patient consultations and perform initial examinations and assessments.
• Make recommendations to referring physicians, patients, and families under the guidance of the interventional radiologist.
• Conduct daily rounds and communicate patient progress to medical staff and radiologists.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab Technologist experience, including experience within the last year.
• Experience with heart caths, PCI, IABP insertions, STEMI call, IVUS/IFR, and interventional radiology cases.
• BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association.
• ARRT certification required.

Additional Information

• EMR system used: Cerner
• Facility is a Level II Trauma center with private patient rooms and a focus on reducing infection and injury risks.
