Job Opportunity: Temporary Registered Nurse (RN) – First Assist / Operating Room (OR) (Days)

Job Description

• Work in the Surgery Department specializing in a broad spectrum of surgical treatments including endocrine, breast, oncologic, gastrointestinal, colon and rectal (open and laparoscopic), and hepatobiliary procedures.
• Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to stressful situations.
• Shift: 10 or 12-hour day shifts (no scheduling accommodations or shift changes allowed).
• Local travelers (within 50 miles) are not eligible.
• Requests for time off (RTO) must be submitted and approved at the time of application; no more than 5 days of RTO allowed. No RTO requests will be approved after submission.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years experience as OR-RN First Assist (highest required years of experience).
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or higher degree required.
• Experience in multiple surgical specialties required.
• EPIC electronic health record experience required.
• New Hampshire RN license or Compact RN license required and must be uploaded with profile.
• Active American Heart Association BLS certification required.
• Active American Heart Association ACLS certification required.
• CNOR certification preferred but not required.
• Must have own vehicle for transportation.
• Must include permanent address in profile.
