Job Opportunity: Occupational Therapist (OT) - Travel Position

Location: Springfield, Missouri
Contract Length: 12 weeks


Job Summary

Seeking an Occupational Therapist with inpatient rehab and/or acute care experience for a travel assignment at a rehabilitation hospital specializing in recovery from strokes, brain/spinal cord injuries, amputations, complex orthopedic injuries, and other conditions.


Work Schedule

  • Shift: 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM
  • Weekend Hours: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
  • Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
  • Call Requirements: None

Facility & Unit Information

  • Unit Type: Inpatient Rehabilitation Facility (IRF)
  • Number of Beds: 60
  • Patient Ratios: 7 patients to 1 therapist
  • Patient Population: Geriatric, adult, and pediatric patients (13 years and older)
  • Equipment Used: EKSO, InMotion UE Robotic, Body weight support
  • Electronic Health Records (EHR): UDS and Epic

Required Qualifications

  • Discipline: Occupational Therapist (OT)
  • Minimum Years of Experience: 2 years in specialty
  • Experience Required: Inpatient Rehabilitation Facility (IRF) or Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) experience required
  • Education: Required for OT licensure (specific degree not stated, but implied)
  • Certifications: None required
  • Prior Travel Experience: Not specified (assumed not required)

Preferred Skills & Experience

  • Experience with neurological, orthopedic, debility, and cardiac diagnoses/treatments
