Job Opportunity: Cath Lab Tech (Travel/Contract)
Location: Portland, Oregon

Job Details
- Position does not float between units
- On-call required: Yes, one weeknight per week (6 PM - 7:30 AM) and approximately every 5th weekend (Friday 6 PM to Monday 7:30 AM)
- Weekends are not required
- Block schedules are not required
- Expected patient ratio: 1:1
- Special requirements:
- Certified Cardiovascular Technologist (CVT) with experience in stroke/cerebral angiograms, cardiac, and interventional radiology (IR) preferred
- Must be an experienced traveler; no first-time travel assignments accepted

Required Qualifications
Experience
- Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology

Background and Compliance Requirements
- Background check within 45 days of start, covering all locations lived/worked in the past 7 years
- Education verification required
- Drug screening: 10-panel drug screen within 90 days of start (no instant tests)
- Physical exam within 1 year of start, signed by MD, NP, PA, or DO
- Immunizations and health documents required:
- Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap (within 10 years)
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 12 months
- MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella) vaccination or positive titer
- Hepatitis B vaccination or signed declination
- Varicella vaccination or positive titer
- Flu vaccine or declination during flu season
- COVID vaccine or declination
- Respiratory safety clearance required annually for travel candidates
- Fit mask test required for travel candidates (updated annually)
Scheduling and Floating
- Floating to other Providence facilities within reasonable distance may be required
- One weeknight on-call per week and approximately every 5th weekend on-call
Training and Competency
- Must complete required WorkRamp modules prior to start, including:
- Annual regulatory requirements
- Specialty-specific modules for Oregon region
- Facility-specific modules as assigned
- Competency exams and medication/pharmacology tests as applicable
- Epic training modules required for access to electronic health records
References and Employment History
- Minimum of 2 references covering at least 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty/setting
- Employment application covering at least the last 5 years (7 years for APN/Subcontractors) with month/year format for dates worked
- Skills checklists required annually for applicable units
