Description

Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse (RN) - Emergency Room (ER) (Nights)

Location: Lawton, Oklahoma
Employment Type: Temporary
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

As an ER nurse, your primary responsibilities include:

Identifying medical issues and determining their severity
Providing immediate support to minimize long-term negative effects
Sustaining life when necessary
Acting as one of the first responders when a patient is admitted to the emergency room

Requirements

Specialty: Registered Nurse (RN) - Emergency Room (ER)
Experience: At least 2 years of ER nursing experience (required)
Prior Travel Experience: Recent traveler experience preferred (not required)
Licensure & Certifications:
- Oklahoma State Nursing License or compact license
- BLS (AHA)
- NIH Certification
- ACLS (AHA)
- PALS (AHA)
- TNCC (Preferred)

Additional Information

Orientation for nursing travelers starts on Thursdays
On-call pay is provided at a set hourly rate with a minimum hour guarantee
Local candidates within 50 miles may be considered with adjusted terms
Non-compete policy applies for former direct employees of the facility (6-month waiting period before agency placement)

This position offers the opportunity to work in a regional referral center providing comprehensive emergency care in Southwest Oklahoma.
