Job Opportunity: PTA Outpatient Rehab (Travel/Contract)

Job Description

• Work with orthopedic populations, young athletes, post-operative patients, debility/falls, and balance.
• Patient-to-therapist ratio: 1:1
• Shift: Days, Monday-Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM
• No weekend or on-call requirements
• Locals and first-time travelers accepted
• No restrictions on time off (RTO)

Requirements/Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapy Assistant license in Oklahoma
• Minimum 1 year of Physical Therapy Assistant experience, including experience within the last year

Certifications & Licensure

• No specific certifications required for this position
• Pending license accepted
• State license verification and primary source verification required

Compliance & Documentation Requirements

• Proof of identity (Government issued photo ID)
• Background check: 7-year criminal history, sex offender, FACIS Level 3, education verification as applicable
• Drug testing: 9 or 12 panel drug screen within required timeframe
• Health documents including:

  • Physical exam within last 12 months
  • Immunizations and titers (Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Hepatitis B)
  • Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year
  • Flu vaccine or approved exemption during flu season (Oct 1 - Mar 31)
  • Fit mask test within last year (N95 mask fit testing)
• References: 2 professional references within last 2 years required for travel positions
• Completion of employment application/resume and skills checklist as applicable

Additional Notes

• No on-call or weekend shifts required
• No special certifications mandated, but standard healthcare compliance and immunization requirements apply
• Facility accepts candidates with pending licenses and first-time travelers
