Job Opportunity: X-Ray Tech (Radiology / Cardiology)

Shift Details

• Schedule: 5x8 hour shifts, 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM
• Every other weekend required, with days off around the weekend worked
• No call required

Job Description

• Perform Radiology exams and Fluoroscopic procedures on patients of all ages
• Maintain patient safety throughout procedures

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in Radiology / Cardiology specialty
• ARRT (R) certification required at time of submission
• Ohio state license required prior to start
• AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required at time of submission

Certifications & Compliance Requirements

• BLS (Basic Life Support): AHA only (Instructor or Provider); RQI acceptable
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support): AHA only (Instructor or Provider); RQI acceptable (preferred but not explicitly required for this role)
• Other certifications: Not specifically required for this role but may be relevant depending on unit
• Fingerprinting: FBI and BCI fingerprinting within 12 months required and must be updated annually
• Background Checks: Comprehensive background check including FCRA compliant 7-year search required prior to start

• Complete facility-specific online training modules prior to start
• References: 2 professional references within 1 year of start from a manager, supervisor, or charge nurse

• Annual competency exams and skills checklists required
• Radiation badge provided by facility when applicable
• Fit mask testing completed onsite during orientation
