Job Description

Seeking a Mammography Technologist to assist with patient volumes primarily at a Breast Center, with occasional support at a satellite location. Work involves screening and diagnostic mammography; no biopsy procedures required.

• Shift: First shift with rotating hours between 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM
• Holiday weeks: 4 shifts of 10 hours each
• Occasional Saturdays required
• Mobile work: Variable hours between 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM

Required Experience & Skills

• Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology (Mammography)
• Mammography Procedures Experience:

  • Screening
  • Diagnostic
  • Digital
  • 3-D Mammography
• Work Setting Experience: Outpatient
• Patient Ratio: 10-15 patients

Required Qualifications

• Licenses/Certifications:

  • Ohio Department of Health Mammography License (specific to Mammography Tech)
  • ARRT Certification (including ARRT Advanced Certification)
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification
• Digital Hologic (Tomo) knowledge preferred

Background & Compliance Requirements

• 7-year criminal background check within 90 days of start, including FBI and BCI fingerprinting (Ohio-specific codes apply)
• Monthly EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG monitoring
• Education accreditation verification required
• Transcript/Diploma verification for relevant programs
• Pending background check attestation required if fingerprint results are pending
• Subcontractors must complete additional background acknowledgements and fingerprint proof

Health & Safety Requirements

• Physical exam within 1 year of start confirming good health and free of contagious disease
• Immunizations and/or titers required:

  • Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap (adult dose after age 11/12)
  • Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year
  • TB questionnaire
  • Measles, Mumps, Rubella (2 MMR vaccines or positive titer)
  • Hepatitis B titer or 3-vaccine series (declination acceptable)
  • Varicella (2 vaccines or positive titer; medical exemption allowed)
• Negative 10-panel drug screen within 3 months of start (no pending tests allowed)
• Seasonal flu vaccination or declination during flu season (10/1 - 3/31) with mask requirement if declined
• COVID-19 vaccination not required but strongly recommended

Additional Requirements

• 2 professional references required (at least 1 from a manager or formal leadership)
• Employment application and skills checklist required
• Annual acknowledgment of dress code, hand hygiene, ethics, and compliance policies
• Orientation safety manual acknowledgment required annually

Prior Travel Experience

• No explicit prior travel experience required
