Job Opportunity: Cath Lab Technician

Location: Mesquite, Texas
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 12 weeks

Job Details

• Float between two facilities within the Dallas area
• Shift: Days, 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM (flexible schedule)
• On-Call Requirement: Yes

  • Rotating call 12-15 days per month and every other weekend
  • Call hours: Monday-Friday 3:00 PM – 6:30 AM, Weekends 7:00 AM – 7:00 AM (24 hours)
• Exposure to COVID-19 patients expected
• Charting system: Epic
• Scrubs: Any color (hospital provides scrubs)

Required Experience

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Cath Lab Technician
• IR (Interventional Radiology) experience preferred

Required Certifications & Licenses

• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
• ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists)
• RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist)

Required Qualifications & Compliance

• Valid Driver’s License or State ID
• Drug Screening: Minimum 10-panel test (including THC) within 60 days of start
• COVID-19 Vaccination: 2 doses plus booster or documented declination
• MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella) immunity proof
• Hepatitis B vaccination required (declinations not accepted)
• Influenza vaccine required during flu season (declinations not accepted)
• TB Test within one year of start date
• Varicella immunity proof
• Tdap vaccination required (declinations not accepted)
• Annual Respirator Fit Test (must be completed prior to start if not available onsite)
• National Criminal Background Check within one year of start date
• Employment eligibility verification (Form I-9)
• Completion of required competency exams and skills checklists with a minimum score of 80%

Additional Requirements

• 2 professional references required (one must be from a manager or direct supervisor)
• Resume must be up to date and reflect recent work history
• Must complete agency attestation and other onboarding documentation as required

Prior Travel Experience

• No explicit prior travel experience required
