Job Opportunity: Nuclear Medicine Technologist (Days)
Location: Northampton, Massachusetts
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Description
- Perform various Nuclear Medicine procedures as prescribed by physicians.
- Work schedule: Monday to Friday, no call, weekends, or holidays.
- Operate within established organizational and departmental policies and procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Associate’s degree from an accredited school in Nuclear Medicine Technology.
- Current licensure in Massachusetts specific to Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMT) and NMT Board of Certification (NMTBC) registration or registry eligibility.
- Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- 1 to 3 years of experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist (use 3 years as the required experience).
Certifications and Compliance Requirements
- Must maintain continuing education credits to meet State and Registry licensing requirements.
- Required health and safety compliance including:
- N95 fit test (within 365 days and updated annually).
- Documentation of MMR vaccination or immunity.
- Influenza vaccine during flu season (no exemptions).
- TB screening within 3 months prior to start date (skin test or blood test).
- Physician health statement within 365 days of start date.
- Criminal background checks, CORI, SSN trace, sex offender registry, and exclusion checks as required by the employer.

- Prior travel experience is not explicitly required for this position.
- Must submit professional photo and various documentation as part of onboarding and credentialing.
- Required to provide references and complete skills checklist for submission.
