Job Opportunity: Cath Lab Registered Nurse (Travel/Contract)

Job Description

• Support cardiac, vascular, and interventional radiology (IR) procedures in a regional PCI Center with 24/7 call coverage.
• No CT surgery or structural heart procedures performed.
• Device procedures only with electrophysiology (EP), no ablation.

Required Qualifications

• Specialty: Registered Nurse (Cath Lab)
• Minimum 2 years of experience in specialty required.
• Prior travel experience: Not required (1st time travelers are welcome).
• Licenses/Certifications:

  • Current RN license valid in Texas.
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) required.
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) required.
  • CCI RCIS certification preferred but not required.

Compliance and Documentation Requirements

• Government-issued photo ID required.
• Background checks including 7-year search, education verification, and annual federal exclusions (EPLS/GSA/SAM, HHS/OIG).
• Physical exam within 1 year of start (not required by facility but required for placement).
• Immunizations and health screenings required within 72 hours of contract signing:

  • Negative TB test or chest X-ray.
  • Vaccinations or declinations for Hepatitis B, TDAP, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, COVID-19, and seasonal flu.
• Drug screening: Negative 10-panel drug screen within 1 year of start.
• Annual competency exams and skills checklists as applicable.
• Two professional references within 3 years required.
