Job Opportunity: Cath Lab Technologist

Location: Bemidji, Minnesota
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience as ARRT in Cardiac Cath, EP, IR, and/or Vascular (higher end of 2-5 years preferred)
• Active ARRT certification
• BLS (AHA) certification required
• ACLS (AHA) certification required
• Experience with heart cath procedures, peripherals, pacemakers, ablations, and monitoring vitals
• Must be comfortable taking Stemi call
• Willingness to complete the MN Net Study within 2 weeks of offer acceptance
• Sterile technique experience preferred
• Experience with vascular, coronary, and device implant required
• Experience with EP procedures preferred
• RCIS/RCES certification preferred

Prior travel experience: Not explicitly required

Job Duties

• Assist physicians with heart cath procedures, peripherals, pacemakers, ablations
• Monitor patient vitals and perform charting
• Use equipment such as Epic charting, MacLab, ACIST injector, CSI, Laser, Shockwave, balloon pumps, temp pacemakers, Impellas, Carto

Schedule & Work Environment

• Shift: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• Call: 1-2 times per week, including every 4th weekend
• Late team call 1-2 times per week (stay until procedures complete)
• Unit has 3 Cath Labs
• Scrub experience is a bonus but not required
• Floating to other units/departments: Not applicable
