Job Description

The Cardiac Cath Lab Technician assists with imaging studies in the Cardiac Cath Lab, demonstrating critical thinking and judgment. The role involves performing studies timely under the direction of the Cardiologist, Chief Technologist, or Director of Imaging Services.

Shift: Days, 4x10-hour shifts (06:45 AM - 5:15 PM)
On-Call Requirements: 2-3 days per week and every 3rd weekend (Saturday, Sunday, Monday)
Response Time: 30 minutes to hospital for STEMI call
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week

Required Qualifications

• Licenses/Certifications:

  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • X-Ray/ARRT Certification (required for this specialty)

• Experience:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience preferred (higher of 2 or 3 years required)
  • Experience with circulating, monitoring, and familiarity with STEMI and high-risk equipment such as Impella, IABP, and Anari
