Job Opportunity: RN - PACU (Post Anesthesia Care Unit)

Position Details

• Specialty: PACU / ICU
• Number of Openings: 1
• Shift: Four 10-hour shifts per week (07:00 - 17:30)
• Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 40
• Weekend Hours: On-call 1-2 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule
• Call Requirements: 7-8 on-call shifts per 6-week schedule, including weekend, weeknight (20:00 - 07:00), and holiday coverage (07:00 - 07:00)
• Float Requirements: None

Unit Information

• Number of Beds: 9
• Patient Ratios: Typically 1:1, can be up to 1:3 when holding for beds
• Patient Types: General, Orthopedic, Urology, Pain Management, Podiatry, OB-GYN
• Equipment: Phillips Monitors
• EMR System: Epic

Required Qualifications

• License: Registered Nurse (RN) license required
• Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in PACU or ICU (highest required years of experience)
• Certifications: BLS required; ACLS and PALS preferred
• Prior Travel Experience: Not explicitly required
