• Number of Staff: 15
• Shift Staffing:

  • Day Shift: Charge Nurse, 10 RNs, 2-3 Techs, 1 Unit Secretary
  • Night Shift: Charge Nurse, 10 RNs, 2-3 Techs, 1 Unit Secretary
• Patient Ratio: 4:1
• EMR System: Meditech

Job Description

• Typical Procedures: IV start, Blood draw, Resuscitation, EKG, etc.
• Preferred Skills:

  • Acute ER Experience (required)
  • Trauma (preferred)
• Personality Fit: Active, personable
• Dress Code: Royal Blue scrubs
• Work Schedule: 4 weekend shifts per month, no on-call

Required Qualifications

• License: Registered Nurse (RN) License for Texas
• Certifications:

  • TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)
  • PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
• Years of Experience: Minimum 1 year in Emergency Nursing specialty
• Prior Travel Experience: Not required

Contract Length

• 13 weeks (approximately 3 months)
