Job Opportunity: RN - Bone Marrow (Travel)

Location: Webster, Texas
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Unit Information

Unit: Blood Cancer / Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT)
Number of Beds: 8
Number of Staff: 15
Shift Staffing:
- Day Shift: 1 charge nurse, 2 RNs, 1 secretary
- Night Shift: 1 charge nurse, 2 RNs
Patient Ratios: 4:1
Equipment: Telemetry
EMR System: Meditech

Required Qualifications

Current Registered Nurse (RN) License in Texas or Multi-State Compact License
BLS Certification
ONS Chemotherapy Biotherapy Certification
Minimum 1 year of experience as an RN in Bone Marrow Transplant / Hematology specialty
Experience with:
- Chemotherapy/Biotherapy administration
- Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT) procedures
- Hematology patient care

Preferred Qualifications

ONCC Oncology Certified Nurse Certification
ACLS Certification

Typical Procedures Performed

Chemotherapy/Biotherapy administration
Bone Marrow Transplant care
Blood administration
Cardiac monitoring

Work Environment & Culture

Floating Areas: Medical-Surgical units
Dress Code: Royal Blue Scrubs
Weekend Schedule: Rotating weekends
