Description

Travel RN - NICU

Location: Austin, Texas
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
Call Requirements: No on-call required

Unit Information

Unit: Level 3-4 NICU
Number of Beds: 97
Number of Staff: Approximately 200
Patient Ratios: 3-4 patients per RN
Staff Composition: Primarily RNs and 1 clerk on night shift
Equipment: Medfusion pumps, Alaris pumps, Giraffe isolettes, GE monitors
EMR Systems: CPN, Meditech

Required Qualifications

License: Registered Nurse (RN) License required
Certifications: BLS, NRP
Experience: Minimum 2 years Level 3 NICU experience (higher value between 1 and 2 years applied)
Prior Travel Experience: Preferred but not required (candidates with prior travel experience will be considered first)

Additional Information

Dress Code: Navy scrubs only; no nail polish or artificial nails allowed
Personality Fit: Friendly, outgoing, compassionate
No on-call required during this assignment

Typical procedures and detailed unit policies available upon request
