Position Details

• Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
• Weekend Hours: Every other weekend rotation (Friday-Sunday considered full weekend)

• Patient Population: All (including pediatrics and neonates)
• Unit Beds: 10 ICU, 24 ER, 24 Medical/Surgical, 18 Surgical
• Equipment Used: PB 840/980 VENTS, V60 Bilevel, Vapotherm
• Electronic Health Record (EHR): Meditech

Required Qualifications

• Licensure: Respiratory Therapist (RT) License/Certification required for North Carolina
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP (must have prior to start)
• Experience: Minimum 1+ years in Respiratory Therapy specialty (highest required)
• Skills/Experience:

  • Proficient with ventilators (Vents)
  • Experience with pediatric and neonatal patients
• Call: No call requirements
• Float Requirements: None

Common Diagnoses/Treatments

• COPD
• CHF
• Pneumonia

• Dress Code: Scrubs in Black, Grey, or Navy
