Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse (RN) - Resource Pool (All Units)

Location: Morgantown, West Virginia
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Overview

This Resource Pool position covers all Medsurg, Stepdown, and Telemetry units. Nurses must be well-rounded and strong in multiple areas including Stepdown, Neuro, Ortho, Trauma, General Medicine, and Oncology.

Units Included

• 8 EAST - MedSurg (Stepdown & Floor)
• 8 WEST - Stepdown/Floor
• 8 NE - Stepdown
• 6E - Long term antibiotic infusion unit
• 7 EAST - Trauma & General Surgery Inpatient Unit
• 7 WEST - Stepdown & Floor
• 7 NE - Ortho Neuro
• 10 EAST - Neuro Stepdown & EMU (Epilepsy Monitoring Unit)
• 10 WEST / 6 WEST - Neuro
• 9 EAST - Surgical Oncology/MedSurg (Stepdown & Floor)
• 9 WEST / TCTU - Medical Oncology/Stepdown
• 8 WEST - Nightshift Cluster (Tues, Wed, Thurs), holidays, and weekends as scheduled

Required Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) license required
• ACLS (AHA) certification
• BLS (AHA) certification
• Epic electronic health record experience required
• Level 1 trauma experience preferred
• Prior travel experience preferred

Additional Information

• Ratios: 1:3 for Stepdown units, 1:6 for Medsurg/Telemetry units
• Each unit has up to 34 beds
• Royal Blue Scrubs required
• Must be able to work across multiple specialties including trauma, neuro, ortho, oncology, and general medicine

Notes

• Drivers license address must be outside 50 miles from the facility
• Previous permanent candidates must have been gone for 2 years
• Previous travelers must have been gone for 2 years after 1 full year of travel at this facility
• Individual unit requirements apply as per internal guidelines
• Travel teams must be submitted together if applicable

This position is ideal for experienced RNs who are flexible, have strong multi-specialty skills, and have experience with trauma and Epic systems. Prior travel experience is preferred but not mandatory.
