Job Opportunity: Temporary Registered Nurse (RN) – Med Surg/Telemetry (Days)

Location: Sioux City, Iowa
Employment Type: Temporary Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Provide professional and clinical nursing care as part of an interdisciplinary team.
• May be required to float within the same discipline across local campuses.
• Work schedule: 36-40 hours per week, with overtime billable after 40 hours.
• Electronic Medical Record system used: EPIC.
• Orientation sessions available on multiple dates from January through December.

Required Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Iowa.
• At least 2 years of previous step-down nursing experience required.
• Certifications required:

  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
  • NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale)
• Must have a valid Driver’s License.
• Skills checklist completed within 1 year of submission.
• License verification and copy of required certifications.
• Work history/resume and one supervisory reference required at time of submission.
• Must have a taxable address outside of 50 miles from the facility (local candidates may be considered with rate adjustment).
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply.
• Will float to Emergency Department (ED) as needed.

Additional Information

• Night shift bonus and overtime multipliers apply.
• Call back and on-call pay available.

Prior Travel Experience

• Not required; first-time travelers are accepted.
