Job Opportunity: Radiologic Technologist (Rad Tech) - Travel Position

Location: Winchester, Virginia
Facility Type: 450 Bed Level II Trauma Center

Position Overview

• Role: Radiologic Technologist (Rad Tech)
• Department: Radiology – Main Department
• Provides imaging support primarily for surgical cases in the Surgery Center.
• Assists with x-rays in the Emergency Department or main radiology when not supporting OR/surgical cases.
• Shift Options:

  • 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM (5 days a week, 8-hour shifts)
  • 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM (4 days a week, 10-hour shifts)
• Weekend and on-call requirements: None
• Weekly guaranteed hours: 36

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist (Rad Tech)
• Certifications/Licenses:

  • BLS (AHA only)
  • ARRT certification
  • Virginia state license for Radiologic Technologist

Additional Information

• Patient population: Operating Room (OR) cases
• Dress code: Caribbean Blue scrubs; adherence to facility dress code policy required
• EMR system used: EPIC
• Contract length: 13 weeks

Skills and Experience

• Proficient in diagnostic imaging, OR exams, and trauma imaging
• Prior travel experience is not explicitly required for this position
