OR Nurse Manager - Hermiston, Oregon (Contract)

Job Summary

The OR Nurse Manager coordinates and supervises intraoperative nursing care for patients undergoing operative or invasive procedures. This role involves managing the OR operationally and fiscally, leading the surgical nursing team, and ensuring compliance with medical/legal and accreditation standards.

Essential Job Functions

• Manage OR operations and budget.
• Ensure safe patient care and adherence to evidence-based practices.
• Support and evaluate OR personnel performance.
• Facilitate communication and collaboration within the perioperative team.
• Lead performance improvement projects and data analysis.
• Oversee personnel selection and education compliance.
• Maintain policies, procedures, and equipment functionality.
• Act as a patient advocate while maintaining confidentiality.
• Participate in professional development and organizational initiatives.

Required Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required; Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) preferred.
• License: Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Oregon.
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and CNOR required.
• Experience: Minimum 5 years in operating room or ambulatory surgery center nursing.
• Experience in specialties including robotics, ortho, urology, general surgery, GYN, neuro, ERCP, and vascular.
• Prior management experience preferred.
• ION robot experience preferred.

• 13 weeks
