Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse (RN) - Emergency Room (ER)

Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Provide emergency department triage and prioritization
• Perform emergent life-saving interventions for patients of all ages
• Utilize equipment such as Cerner electronic charting, cardiac monitors, and basic life-saving equipment
• Work 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each
• Coverage required every other weekend and holidays
• No floating to other units
• Unit has 15 beds with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:4
• Dress code: Caribbean Blue
• Orientation provided through Parkview and Cerner

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years experience in an ER setting
• Current Indiana or compact RN license
• BLS (AHA) certification required
• ACLS (AHA) certification required
• PALS certification required
• ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course) required
• TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) required

Additional Notes

• Prior travel experience is not explicitly required for this position
• Candidates should be prepared for every other weekend and holiday coverage
• No floating to other departments
