Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse (RN) - Intensive Care Unit (ICU) (Nights)

Location: Keene, New Hampshire

Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Work in a 10-bed ICU unit with a 2:1 RN to patient ratio
• Patient population: Adolescent to Geriatric, Level III Trauma
• May float to Progressive Care Unit (PCU)
• Proficient with IV drips, ventilators, hemodynamic monitoring, and vasoactive medications
• Experience with arterial lines required
• EPIC electronic health record experience required
• Charge nurse and preceptor abilities are a plus
• Traveler must have their own vehicle
• No block scheduling or schedule accommodations will be accepted
• Requested time off (RTO) must be submitted and verified at time of application; no more than 5 days allowed
• Local travelers residing within 50 miles of the facility will not be considered

Required Qualifications

• License: New Hampshire RN license or Compact RN license (must be uploaded with profile)
• Certifications:

  • American Heart Association BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • American Heart Association ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
  • National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
• Experience: Minimum 2+ years of current ICU experience (highest required years of experience)
• Other: Must comply with all medical and occupational health requirements within 72 hours of offer acceptance

• No 48-hour guarantee for this assignment
• All scheduling requests and time off must be finalized before offer acceptance; no changes allowed afterward
• The facility is a regional referral center located in a scenic area with many outdoor recreational opportunities nearby
