Job Opportunity: X-Ray Tech (Radiology / Cardiology)

Shift Details

• Hours: 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM
• Days: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday

Required Experience

Required Qualifications

Background and Compliance Requirements

• Government Issued Photo ID required
• Criminal background check (FCRA compliant 7-year search) required prior to start and updated for breaks in service of 2+ months
• EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks required monthly on the 15th
• Transcript/Diploma verification required
• FBI and BCI fingerprinting required within 12 months of start and updated annually (fingerprints must be completed immediately upon signing)
• Facility will conduct additional fingerprinting on the first day

Health and Safety Requirements

• Pre-employment physical exam within 1 year of start, confirming ability to safely perform job functions
• Fit mask testing within 12 months of start, updated annually (specific approved masks listed)
• Negative 2-step PPD or Quantiferon Gold TB test/T-Spot within 6 months of start, or chest x-ray if prior positive
• Annual TB symptoms assessment and TB questionnaire if history of positive test

Documentation and Onboarding

• Two recent satisfactory pre-employment references required
• Employment application must include 3 years prior work history, including at least 2 years clinical practice in acute care and similar area to assignment
• Unit-specific skills checklist required, updated annually
• Completion of facility-specific online training modules (4-5 hours) prior to start
• Badge photo and badge pickup procedures as per facility guidelines

Summary

This is a travel contract position for an X-Ray Tech with a focus on Radiology/Cardiology in a Level 1 Trauma and NICU/Neonates environment.
