Job Opportunity: X-Ray Tech (Radiology / Cardiology)

Job Details

• Shift: 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (6:30 PM - 7:00 AM overnight)
• Shifts may change during interview
• Must live at least 100 miles from the facility (strict requirement)

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of X-Ray Technician experience, including experience within the last year
• ARRT certification
• Experience working with Neonate patients
• Experience working with Pediatric patients

Required Certifications and Licenses

• ARRT certification (specific to Radiology Tech)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA or ARC only
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) may be required depending on unit (check specifics)

Background and Compliance Requirements

• Background check within 60 days of start including:

  • Statewide, county, federal searches
  • Education verification (diploma/transcript not accepted in lieu)
  • Sex offender search
  • Tennessee Adult Abuse Registry search (TN only)
• EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks required within 30 days of start and annually thereafter
• Two recent professional references required
• Skills checklist and internal evaluation may be required annually or after one year with agency

Health and Immunization Requirements

• Physical exam within 1 year of start, attesting ability to meet job demands
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year, updated annually
• Immunizations required:

  • Measles (Rubeola), Mumps, Rubella: Proof of 2 vaccines or positive antibody titer with boosters if needed
  • Hepatitis B: 3-shot series, positive titer, or signed declination
  • Varicella: Proof of 2 vaccines or positive antibody titer with boosters if needed
• Seasonal flu vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption required during flu season
• Negative 10-panel drug test within 30 days of start (no pending compliance allowed)
• Fit mask test (3M N-95) within 1 year of start, must pass without limitations

Additional Facility Requirements

• Photo badge meeting strict guidelines (passport-style photo, no hats, no glasses glare, no filters)
• Must submit required documentation timely (e.g., Return to Office forms at time of submission)
• Dress code: Navy blue scrubs for RNs, Caribbean blue for RRTs, steel gray for Surgical and OB Techs; no prints or embroidered scrubs allowed
• Facility-specific questionnaires and submission packets required prior to start
