Job Description

• Position on Cardiac Telemetry unit (South Main Three - SM3)
• Required to float to Neuro Telemetry (NM4) and Post Op/Observation (SM4) units as needed
• Every 3rd weekend required as needed
• First-time travelers accepted

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Maryland
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Minimum 2 years of Med Surg / Telemetry nursing experience, with experience within the last year
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross

Additional Information

• Must complete facility-specific orientation modules prior to start
• Valid driver's license required if driving is an essential job function
• Medication/Pharmacology competency exam required within 3 years, minimum 80% score
• Color blindness testing required (online or in-person)
• Annual safety manual acknowledgement required
• Work history verification required for at least 2 years in the past 7 years
• Employment application must include 7 years of work history with no gaps

Prior Travel Experience

• Not required; first-time travelers are accepted for this position.

Schedule

• 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (1850-0720 shift)
• Every 3rd weekend required as needed
