Description

Job Opportunity: RRT - Respiratory Therapy

Location: Savannah, Georgia
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks


Unit & Work Environment

  • Unit: Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)
  • Patient population: Neonatal and Pediatric ICU critical care patients
  • Equipment used:
    • Servo U & Drager VN500 ventilators
    • F&P Bubble CPAP
    • High Frequency Oscillatory Ventilation (HFOV)
    • High Frequency Jet Ventilation (HFJV)
    • Vaportherm
    • Heliox therapy
  • Documentation system: Epic
  • Shift: 7 PM – 12-hour shifts
  • Dress code: Hunter Green uniform

Required Qualifications

  • Valid Respiratory Therapist license in Georgia
  • Minimum 1 year of recent Respiratory Therapist experience in an inpatient acute care setting
  • Experience working with Neonate and Pediatric patients
  • Ability to setup and manage heliox therapy through invasive and non-invasive measures
  • Familiarity with non-invasive ventilation including BiPAP and CPAP
  • Proficient in Bubble CPAP, nitric oxide administration, and high frequency ventilation
