Job Opportunity: MRI Technologist (Travel)

Position Summary

• Perform high-quality MRI scans for radiologist interpretation efficiently and timely.
• Adjust exam parameters based on patient size, body habitus, and needs.
• Prioritize patient safety and positive identification before exams.
• Provide quality patient care with advanced knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy.
• Work collaboratively as a team member.
• Manage patient flow and obtain relevant medical information.
• Perform QA/QC per ACR guidelines.
• Start, maintain, and remove IVs and power injectors.
• Understand contrast media effects and manage reactions appropriately.
• Monitor vital signs for critical patients.

Required Qualifications

• Valid MRI Technologist license in New Mexico
• Minimum 1 year of MRI Technologist experience within the last year
• ARRT certification in MRI
• BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to perform IV starts

Work Schedule & Environment

• Shift: Sunday 7am-7pm, Monday 11:30am-12:00pm, Tuesday 11:30am-12:00pm
• Weekend requirement: Yes, Sunday
• No on-call or floating requirements
• Exposure to bloodborne pathogens, various body fluids, and magnetic fields.
• Physical demands include lifting, transferring, and positioning patients and equipment over 50 pounds regularly.
