Job Opportunity: Temporary Registered Nurse (RN) – Emergency Room (ER)

Location: Rock Island, Illinois
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Summary

As a member of the interdisciplinary team, the traveler will provide and manage patient care in the Emergency Room. The role may require floating within the same discipline across local campuses.

Work Schedule & Environment

• 36-40 hours per week, with overtime billable after 40 hours
• Orientation sessions available on scheduled dates throughout 2026
• EMR system used: EPIC
• Night shift differential: 16 hours
• OT/Holiday pay multiplier: 1.15x
• Call back pay multiplier: 1.5x with 2-hour minimum
• On-call pay available

Required Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Illinois
• Certifications:

  • TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)
  • PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
  • NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale)
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience in Emergency Room or relevant specialty (higher experience requirement applies if conflicting data)
• Driver’s License
• Skills checklist completed within 1 year of submission
• License verification and copy of required certifications
• Work history/resume
• One supervisory reference required at time of submission
• Must have a taxable address outside of 50 miles from the facility
• First-time travelers are welcome (prior travel experience NOT required)

Additional Notes

• Prior travel experience is NOT required for this position.
• The traveler may be asked to float within the same discipline across local campuses.
