Description

Travel RN - ICU

Location: Tuscaloosa, Alabama
Employment Type: Travel

Job Description

Work in a 16-bed Medical Intensive Care Unit (high acuity) providing complex monitoring and treatment of adult patients.
Must be willing to float to other units and hospitals.
Schedule options: 36 or 48 hours per week.
Work every other weekend and holidays as required.
Collaborate with all disciplines of the care team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
Maintain a safe and comfortable environment for patients.

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Alabama
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Minimum 1 year of recent experience in Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU)
ACLS certification issued by American Heart Association
BLS certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification

Additional Information

Patient-facing clinical role.
EMR system: Meditech.
Dress code: Solid navy scrubs.
Guaranteed hours: 36 per week.
Parking available.
