Job Opportunity: Occupational Therapist (OT) - Travel Position

Location: Oklahoma City, Oklahoma
Setting: Inpatient Rehabilitation Hospital


Job Details

  • Contract Length: 13 weeks
  • Shift: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
  • Weekly Hours: 40 hours guaranteed
  • Call Requirements: 1 call every 4 weeks
  • Float: Potential float to North Campus
  • Patient Ratio: 6:1
  • Patient Population: Adults with neurological diagnoses, orthopedic conditions, debility, and related rehab needs
  • EHR System: UDS

Required Qualifications

  • Valid Occupational Therapist license in Oklahoma
  • Minimum 2 years of Occupational Therapy experience, including experience within the last year
  • Degree in Occupational Therapy (Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate)
  • Experience working with adult, geriatric, and pediatric patients

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in acute or rehabilitation hospital settings
  • Prior experience with neurological and orthopedic patient populations
  • Cooperative team player with strong interpersonal skills

Additional Requirements

  • Compliance with facility influenza vaccination policy or approved exemption (masking required during flu season if exempt)
  • Must wear black scrubs
  • Reporting time: 8:00 AM

Summary

This travel OT position offers a 13-week contract in a well-equipped inpatient rehab hospital caring for adult patients recovering from complex neurological and orthopedic conditions. The role requires a licensed Occupational Therapist with at least 2 years of experience, preferably in inpatient rehab settings, who is a team-oriented communicator and comfortable with basic computer use. Compliance with flu vaccination policies and facility protocols is mandatory.
