Travel RN - Operating Room

Location: Louisville, Kentucky
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Details

Discipline / Specialty: Registered Nurse (RN) - Operating Room
Shift: 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM
Weekly Hours: 36 hours guaranteed
Weekend Hours: Saturday rotation every 6 weeks
Call Requirements: At least 40 hours per 6 weeks
Patient Ratio: 1:1
Unit Beds: 31 Operating Rooms
EMR System: Cerner
Equipment: Mako Robot, DaVinci SP & XI Robots, O-Arm, Rosa Robot

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Kentucky
Minimum 2 years of Operating Room (OR) experience, including experience within the last year
One completed travel assignment
BLS certification
NIHSS certification
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) / Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)

Preferred Qualifications

3+ years of Operating Room experience
Strong skills in managing high acuity surgical patients

Patient Population

Neuro (spine/cranial, navigation)
Orthopedics including robotics and arthroscopic procedures
Thoracic and vascular complex cases
Transplant patients
ENT / Radical neck complex procedures

Additional Information

Must be flexible, adaptable, and willing to learn and assist across service lines
Positive, can-do attitude with willingness to expand knowledge
Float requirement: stay within the Operating Room unit
Scrubs provided by facility
