Job Opportunity: Mammography Tech - Radiology

Location: Winchester, Virginia
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

Role: Mammography Tech
Facility Type: Level II Trauma Center (450 beds)
Unit: Mammography
Shift: 3x12 hour shifts (7:00 AM - 7:30 PM) on Fri, Sat & Sun or Sat, Sun & Mon
Weekend Requirement: Every Saturday and Sunday
On-Call: None
Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36

Responsibilities

Perform general mammography screening compliant with MQSA standards
Independently manage the mammography unit as the sole mammography tech on site
Complete 31 mammography screenings within a 12-hour shift

Required Qualifications

Valid Mammography Technologist license in Virginia
Minimum 2 years of Mammography Technologist experience, including experience within the last year
Proficient in performing mammography
Able to complete 31 mammography screenings within a 12-hour time period
BLS issued by American Heart Association
ARRT Certification

Additional Information

EMR system used: EPIC
Dress Code: Caribbean Blue scrubs (per facility dress code policy)
Patient Population: Level II Trauma Center & Inpatient
