Job Description

Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for Operating Room (OR) in a 25-bed critical access hospital. The facility provides acute-care services including cardiopulmonary care, inpatient and ambulatory surgery, laboratory services, medical imaging, and emergency department services. The hospital is located near the Laramie Mountain Range, approximately 70 miles north of Cheyenne, WY.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of current Operating Room experience
• Active Wyoming or Compact RN license
• American Heart Association certifications:

  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
• Flu vaccination (declinations accepted with proper documentation)
• Valid Driver’s License
• Clean license verification with no hits at time of submission
• Completion of required learning modules prior to assignment start
• Skills checklist specific to Operating Room discipline
• Resume detailing all facilities worked, including facility size, bed count, trauma level, and units

Additional Requirements & Notes

• Return to Office (RTO) requests must be less than 7 days and cannot occur during the first week of assignment or holidays
• Background compliance requirements must be strictly followed and attested to
• Travel experience is preferred but not required
• All shifts and departments the candidate is willing to work must be clearly indicated during submission
• Candidates must be ready to accept the assignment upon submission

Summary

This is a temporary RN position in the Operating Room requiring at least 2 years of OR experience and multiple American Heart Association certifications. The role demands a clean license, flu vaccination, and adherence to specific compliance and background requirements. Prior travel experience is preferred but not mandatory. The assignment is for approximately 13 weeks in a critical access hospital setting.
